Crack Filling

A vital element in pavement preservation; APCON is fully equipped with oil-jacketed and direct-fire tar kettles to melt hot flexible crack fillers.  Both rubber and asphalt based materials can be applied to linar cracks and expansion joints to help prevent smaller cracks from becoming larger ones.  Keeping water out during freeze-thaw cycles is a crucial element in prolonging pavement life.
